Gavin is a first year Structural Engineering grad student, residing in the depths of wilderness otherwise known as the Graduate College. A native of Wicklow in Ireland, he is Princeton's sole Irish student. As most Americans would expect, he is currently enjoying the new-found delights of electricity, running water, and a non-potato diet. He rowed varsity for both University College Dublin and University of California, Irvine, with wins nationally at both club and intercollegiate levels. Following a grisly encounter with a surfboard and a year of rehab he is glad to be back training competitively. He is looking forward to a year of racing in a new sport and impressing naive girls with wild and exotic phrases such as 'half six'.
